Musculoskeletal injuries have become a major health issue, affecting as many as 1 in 2 people in the US alone. As fitness professionals and coaches, preventing injury in our clients and athletes is one of our primary responsibilities. In this session, Lee will provide insight into the impact that musculoskeletal injuries have on our society and explain how mobility and stability can create a better foundation for movement. There will be 3 presenters at each location. The seminar will be divided into two sessions, morning and afternoon. During the morning sessions each presenter will give a 60 minute lecture on their topic. After the break for lunch, the afternoon sessions will begin. Each presenter will direct a corresponding learn-by-doing station. Attendees will be divided into smaller groups and rotate to each station.
