Langston University men’s basketball program, fresh off of finishing in the Elite 8 of the NAIA National Tournament, will hold an open tryout on Saturday, May 5th, 2018.

The tryout is for unsigned high school seniors as well as transfer-students, and it will be held in the CF Gayles Fieldhouse on the campus of Langston University. The event will be held from 10:00 am – 1:00pm (registration beings at 9:00am).

The Lions finished the season in the Sweet Sixteen, marking the 3rd straight appearance in the national tournament. The team finished with an overall record of 21-12 and featured All-American Dante Bailey. Not only does this mark the 3rd straight 20+ win season, it also marks the 4th straight year a player has been named All-American.
