Instructors
Jennifer Potter: Head Coach, Ithaca Women’s Track & Field coach since 2003. Potter, an All-American sprinter at Ithaca, has led the Bombers to two national runner-up finishes at the NCAA Chmpionships, six indoor and eight outdoor NYS collegiate titles. She has guided the team to 18 Empire 8 titles in 20 total indoor and outdoor seasons. She has also been received “Coach of the Year” honors from the Empire 8 Conference, NYS Collegiate Track Conference and the Atlantic Region over 20 times. Potter has coached over 60 All-Americans and 10 national champions.
Russ Ebbets: USATF Level 3 Coach, has been a Lead Instructor for 30 years. A successful high school and collegiate coach, he is one of the few individuals to have lectured at Levels 1, 2, 3 and USATF High Performance Summits. In 2009, he wrote the curriculum for the Youth Level 2 Endurance, Race Walk and Biomechanics. He currently serves as editor of Track Coach, the technical journal of USATF. Areas: Sciences, Endurance
Katie Adams: is in her third year at Wellesley College as the throws coach after debuting the throws program in 2015-2016. Previously, she coached for six years combined at Salem and Pelham High Schools and Pinkerton Academy. She is an USATF Level 3 / IAAF Level V coach in the throws. Adams has also completed the Level 2 programs in the sprints/hurdles/relays & youth specialization. She has coached multiple division and state champions, as well as all-state selected athletes.
